Hand-hammered and hand-engraved copper

My practice explores faith, prayer, endurance and hope through hand-worked copper. I use traditional processes including hammering, repoussé, chasing, engraving and hand-forming, allowing repeated physical marks to become part of the meaning of each work.
Christian imagery and sacred text are central to my practice. Rather than treating them simply as symbols, I explore how prayer, silence and spiritual presence can be experienced through material, surface and light. Copper carries the traces of pressure, time and transformation, making it especially suited to ideas of suffering, resilience and renewal.
My work seeks to create quiet spaces for reflection, where faith can be encountered not only through words or images, but through the physical presence of the object itself.
