Educator, artist, activist. Using Art to raise awareness of global issues and their local reflections. Working in an international community and in a war-torn divided society I try to reconcile traditional skills with contemporary expression. A recurring element in my art is subtle critique of society’s failure to cope with environmental, human rights, equality, stereotypes etc. by painting it like those in power often do - beautiful. Therefore on the first glance my paintings are appealing but they always contain some deeper and often disturbing truths.
