Lizzie Mary Cullen is a multi-award-winning illustrator, speaker and artist based in London. Since graduating from Goldsmiths College in 2008, her psychogeographic maps and urban ink illustrations have been exhibited all around the world. She has gained a cult following for her distinctive, swirling pen-and-ink drawings rooted in Situationism, and hugely popular colouring books, The Magical City and The Magical Christmas. (Penguin Random House) Lizzie is currently working on The Cathedral Project: Mapping every cathedral in England in her signature psychogeographic style, with Rapidograph pens on cotton paper. By mapping not only routes, but also textures, ideas, weather, thought and feeling I will challenge the preconceptions of areas in London through my process of mapping imagination. These psychogeographic maps combine reality with my own interpretations of the space, creating maps which not only record directional routes, but also document a moment of time, and all my sensory reactions to the space.
