Ginny Page (British born (1963)) residing in Denmark since 1986 and has worked as a full-time professional painter for more than 40 years.
Ginny is an elected member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and the Portrait Society of America. Exhibitions include amongst others the Mall Galleries in London with various societies, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (London), ModPortrait (Barcelona), Royal Ulster Academy (Belfast), Royal Scottish Academy (Edinburgh), Royal Hibernian Academy (Dublin), Portrait NOW (Denmark), solo exhibition in WG Gallery in Dordrecht, Netherlands and is represented by galleries both in Denmark and internationally.
I create realistic paintings of everyday objects or people with whom I have a deep connection. Using a limited palette, I explore the full potential of oil paint. I only paint what I truly love, crafting unique and honest images. The simplest things bring me the greatest joy as a painter. Shedding light on the essential and recording personal diaries in paint is my true passion. Many of my paintings contain hidden symbolism, referring to the transience of life. The craftsmanship of the earliest still-life masters inspires me. I aim to evoke calm and contemplation in the viewer. Life is fragile be grateful.
