My artistic practice explores my Romanian heritage, my personal memories and my relationship with faith. I grew up in an environment and in a country where God has always been deeply present in everyday life, and this experience has remained an important part of what I carry within me.
Although I have a broad training in many different artistic techniques, I have chosen painting because it feels like the language closest to me. Through it, I try to explore what has remained inside me from Romania: images, places, sensations, memories and emotions that continue to resonate with me.
My work is an attempt to bring these inner fragments to the canvas. I am interested in evoking rather than simply reproducing what I remember, allowing personal memory, cultural heritage and faith to meet through painting.
